While The Endless remains my favorite film from the duo, Moorhead & Benson's Synchronic is so vividly ambitious, smart, human, weird, and unpredictable. I strongly recommend not watching the trailer and going into it knowing as little as possible.

I would say play Berseria, decide if you're interested in this world, and then play Zestiria if you can tolerate its technical shortcomings. It is VERY ambitious (undoubtedly too ambitious) but it does manage to shine when approached on its own terms.

I'd give it a 7/10!
