Since it's spring, I would like to bring up this 1koma, titled:
"Reciting poems
Of foxes and flowers
Amidst the spring air"
There was a huge discussion when it came out last year, and it's possibly my most favorite 1koma by far too, so here's my own translation & commentary ⬇️

I loved this book growing up, some pages are falling out even. It was a compilation of poems about this kid staying up past bedtime. Some of the poems are funny some have a spooky vibe and some are contemplative. The cover is really representative of the art inside.

The cat and the sea
By Ronald Stuart Thomas

It is a matter of a black cat
On a bare cliff top in March
Whose eyes anticipate
The gorse petals;

The formal equation of
A domestic purr
With the cold interiors
Of the sea's mirror.
