As the largest Koopaling, Morton can ground pound and shake the ground around him. He's usually the boss of the desert. In one fight, he swings a hammer at a Pokey, using its body segments to attack. He's not the smartest of the bunch, but he doesn't care.

My uncle works at Nintendo and says that Bowser Jr. was supposed to be an eighth Koopaling named after Kieth Haring which makes sense because he paints but Boswer felt bad that he couldn’t be in SMB3/4 so he adopted. This is 100% true no headcanon.
