@PenguinCanDraw 5. Shading/shadows. Lots of multiple layers. Usually use the Transparent Watercolor tool for this

Update 3: Grayscale / value pass. Clip Studio. Tried new technique by splitting lights vs shadows on diff layers.
Tweaking movement, blocking and attacking animations. Also, prevented the action from being obscured by top layers.

My process: Draw all shapes and lines by hand, scan, assemble and color in PS. Makes about a billion layers.
