The more I research Welsh mythology, the more I tend to shift my character designs. I.e. Vampiric Nicole & Nicolas's no longer up to date. Nicolas's now a Coraniaid, a dwarf w/ exceptional hearing, & Nicole's a Cyhyraeth, a banshee-like death spirit. (1/2)

Mari Lwyd (Grey Mare), a Welsh mid-winter folk tradition, where a decorated horse skull and her friends come to your house and challenge you to a rhyming duel of wits. When you lose, you let them in for food and drink (and a bit of mischief). Beautiful.
