Chapter's kind of a mess as I was trying to figure out stuff pacing wise and stuck to standalone pages for a bit. Zeppy's redesign was fantastic to me, however. Never made sense that a floating whale had legs. The world also started getting more stylized.

#throwback to when I would paint some snippets of my life. This was the digital art journal series. Here we have xiao long bao! Or soup dumplings, as someone named in English. I remember this being my first time treating myself and eating alone outside. 2020 piece.
Space Dandy managed to gather a lot of great animators on the crew and this scene alone is a cool example since, as a whole, this cut had combined Yutaka Nakamura, Kiyotaka Oshiyama, Norifumi Kugai and Chikashi Kubota.
