Almost out of no-where, shit hit the fan. Following the screams, a small militia of soldiers funneled their way into the bunk. The marines were tough, but they were only humans. For every soldier they killed, one of their own was wounded. There was just too many to face.

yep. Carnivores did exist and had to be avoided or appeased, especially when humans wanted to travel across the plains. Spino, T-Rex, Allosaurus and there was conflict between them and the humans.
