Sometimes it’s subtle but Shiranui’s eye sometimes looks like it squints or can’t open wide and it’s some of his expressions and just. This is a weirdly endearing design aspect. I should read his stories to see if it’s explained.

Canta is a saiy-android who can achieve ss1 and 2, then this "overcharge" form with the blue hair, 3rd image which has too much mechanics to fit into a tweet. And her limbs I think were intended to split so she can dodge better but I never explore that aspect of her

Wonder if the EN Megaman Battle Network collection will update Serenade's pronouns. Game used he, manga used she, but in an interview:
"Ultimate strength is having both masculine and feminine aspects, thus Serenade is both male and female. The ultimate being transcends gender."

As for aspect ratio.... I've never really thought about it! I do like movie theaters though
Setting aside the cartoony aspect for one moment, the cranium of the skeleton’s skull appears to be a lot longer than that or a human’s.
While its true that human DQ characters come in all different shape and sizes, the skull seems to be more fitting for that of neanderthals.
