I don’t understand why the Paper Mario enemies that were series staples like Koopatrols, Ruff Puffs, and Clefts had to be cut from the series. They were already existing enemies at that point and they only added to the Mario universe, they weren’t really modifying or changing it.

@Venrinn Love it! This is my dnd character, who's a fluffy Tabaxi who'd get the zoomies, purr, knock stuff from windowsills and brutally assassinate his enemies.
This era of Hylics 2 was different from the final game beyond just the characters, though. Examples are the ability to battle enemies in the overworld, an unused lab area, and a cutscene involving some kind of explosion. (7/10)
