Anyway, a distinct trait of the M&L art style is the bold black outlines. They achieve that look by applying dark grey pixels on the black pixels for anti-aliasing, . In PiT, they went a step further and added a third color in between the black and dark grey!

LINOONE always runs full speed and only in straight lines. If facing an obstacle, it makes a right-angle turn to evade it. This POKéMON is very challenged by gently curving roads.

(Yes, I did go a bit far with a few lines. No, I don't guarantee my interpretation is accurate. I don't speak a lick of Japanese, but I think this captures the point.)
