Leech was back in Dublin in 1903. He tried as a society portrait painter but there was not the demand there. He was noted for his small plein air landscapes. He left for London (1910-14). Caves, Concarneau (c1910-3), Howth (c1909) & Playing by the Shore (c1910s) & Seascape (nd)

One of my favorite movements is the "Hudson River School." Since this is a Sci-Fi series, I want to try using Rosemari's universe as a playground to recreate the flavor of those impossibly sublime landscapes.
Painting study done in CSP with my photoshop brushes (FINALLY). Trying to focus on eliminating line and pushing my shapes.

You really need to find your characters 3D shapes.
Once you do that, you can pretty much draw them in any position you want.

It is diametrically opposite of the 'Beutiful Worlds' in the mood & colours. Pretty dark, still beautiful. It is desribing the distant planet with all kinds of life-forms, technology, cities, landscapes... I'll be sharing pieces from 'Alien' day-by-day. Here's another piece:
