I'm not saying that this is a huge improvement but 1) incredibly distinct hairstyles helps a LOT in distinguishing them 2) their weapons also make them very distinct 3) school uniform is familiar but pauldrons and scarf/cape add a unique flair

ive said this 100000 times but even if the overall silhouette of the design is kinda meh you could still have distinctive shapes/silhouette Within the design through the use of colorblocking

It’s neat how Steely Dan maintained the same top notch production quality thru the 70s, yet every album has their own distinct sound. Play a small track snippet, and you can feasibly pick out which one it came from.

I'll admit the character designs looked off at first but I think Im warming up to them. Its hard to adapt because Kinako's designs for the novels are pretty distinct, plus the characters (aged 10-13) are younger than most anime characters

This is definitely me just overanalyzing everything but I love how these precious panels subtly showed how the kiss scene doesn't need to carry the distinct yellow undertones present in the whole manwha (or the literal light in the scene) for it to look/feel "warm" 💛

Iv'e properly designed a few toco toucan inspired characters before~
Also I'm sure there are similar toucan gryphs out there, its a super distinct kinda beak and colors, so anything toucan biased is gonna feel similar i bet
