From tamaco's collection
-Blue Dragon-.
I created the Blue Doragon, the four divine beasts from Chinese mythology!
The blue dragon is the guardian god of the east, where the sun comes out, and therefore has the power to make things grow.👀

Ytmk week day 6: Mythology

I couldn’t find a myth in time where a woman warrior goes down to the underworld (for some reason) and meets the son of hades so this is all just a colored sketch from my sketchbook.

But while I will give my characters a wide range of romantic possibilities, in Horus's case, the object of his greatest affection is Seth, and who, when confronted by Horus, has feelings of regret, so he will be tender and caring in the details.

Hathor is actually much older than Horus by generation; however, long ago she took the form of Sekhmet and punished the humans for Ra. When she came to her senses, she felt grief and guilt over the casualties she had caused, so she block out all her previous memories.

Not only does Seth have multiple relationships, but Horus is an equally important protagonist in my story alongside Osiris. He has many companions, including the goddess Hathor, though here they are more like gender-spanning buddies than lovers.🦅🐮

In terms of outward behaviour, my Seth was more assertive and dominant; yet deep down, it was Osiris who was at the heart of their relationship, a steady, gentle, almost never angry man to whom Seth clung.

Canonically the predator literally fights animals all the fucking time dude lmaooo. So no that’s not ridiculous to the mythology of predators. Just say you know nothing about it and go to fucking sleep. Take the L

💚❤️Some drawings that I had wanted to use to customise into acrylic pendants. I haven't made any of the designs into real objects so far because I always feel that I haven't done a good enough job.

Thanks, Shadia!

I'm a writer who has published comics for both adult and YA audiences, and my first MG graphic novel is being published next year.

I'm currently developing a pitch for a YA romance graphic novel with swords + forbidden love + Irish mythology. Email in bio.

This was the last drawing I did on my phone before I bought my iPad. I referenced a Japanese manga artist for this drawing. Like the coming of spring again, Osiris will one day return to Seth, kiss all of Seth's wounds and tears ......😥💚💔

Yatagarasu

-
Tripedal crows are present in Chinese and Korean mythology as well, known as Sanzuwu to Chinese and Samjok-o to Koreans.-
The Yatagarasu is honored by the Japan Football Association in both logo and in its rewards to the winners of the Emperor's Cup.

I also drew this piece about the trio of siblings in this costume; Seth was never very good at dressing himself growing up, which is why his red hair was never fringes or styled, he was too lazy to take care of them.
