Apparently for the 2020 Olympics Japan made samurai character designs of other country's flags to "further convey Japanese culture". They look fine but I'm just sayin very bold of them to make designs for countries they previously occupied and enforced native cultural erasure.

Still pissed that someone thought that the idea of Sonic and Mario competing at the Olympics was somehow the ideal crossover. Sonic being able to kick Mario's ass in Brawl already blew everyone's minds, so I don't understand why they picked something as lame as the Olympics.
