Charlotte Salomon’s beautiful comic art vs a comic biography of her. Comics really resist learning any lessons, this is like making a painting of Malevich in the style of Walt Disney. (I would be interested in reading this, just amazed at the style/tone they chose).

I’m honestly amazed that I learned how to do backgrounds and color in less than a year (though I did churn out an illustration every 2-3 weeks or so for the last 6 months so that makes sense)
