Two Women Dancing (1928) by Jeanne Mammen for today's #OnlineArtExchange in celebration of LBGTQ+ History Month. Mammen's watercolours are sensitive & intimate, showing the beauty & glamour of 1920s Nollendorf, a Berlin neighbourhood, still at heart of the LBGTQ+ community today.
To celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month and as part of @artukdotorg #OnlineArtExchange we present Qasim Riza Shaheen's
'In a World Where There are Five Women I am the Seventh'.
Shaheen developed this piece whilst working with the transgendered Khusra community in Lahore in 2007/08.🏳️🌈

@PrismPaws Cleaned sketches for lineart are just.... Wowza
@PrismPaws I usually just make the sketch my lineart anyway
i dont even remember the last time i used lineart https://t.co/scYNavgOhY
@mausuya i usually don't do lineart for paintings, i just render over my sketch! :']
@BeetleYeen knife tool+mark sharp in the middle line+scale middle line so it pinches in smaller! you can also mark a seam on the wedges and stick them on their own UV to make crisp lineart
fun fact! nobody asked! but i actually do my lineart twice...
is it practical? no
is it time saving? no
do i care? no
I haven’t given the lineart and base to the background characters yet and I’m already thinking about how to color/paint all of this.
Ayy, I shouldn’t rush but I feel so slow… and I want to get to the fun part! The shading!! 🤩🤩
