I like these frames from a One Piece fan project I helped on some time ago. I only did the layout for this, so it'd be neat to see how it'll be animated.

Conversely, if we slow down this animation even further to 4fps, it takes on a whole different feeling! This is the same animation, same overall timing, but the lower frame rate makes it feel much heavier and more ponderous. Less frames, but the movement feels BIGGER now!

Here's the animation at 30fps (nearly 4x smoother), which is what Spine and many other animation systems default to. I think the animation still looks good, but all those extra tween frames soften up the motion too much. You can barely notice it. It's too smooth in my opinion.
