Día 1: calavera.
“¿Miedo a la muerte? Uno debería temerle a la vida, no a la muerte.” Marlene Dietrich

On this day in 1911, an Italian pilot named Giulio Gavotti drops four grenades from an Etrich Taube monoplane onto Ottoman positions in Libya. It's history's first air strike. No casualties are inflicted.

DVA stands over her defeated adversary, crumpled in a vinyl heap as the last of her air escapes~
I drew Walt Disney cradling Marlene Dietrich while Mickey gazes at the heavens.

This is such a fun idea! #OCArtistsConnect
These are some of my characters! All part of my story, Petrichor! They're humans in the story itself! I'm just more comfortable drawing wolves right now, but I'm in the process of learning to draw them as people!

A View of Maastricht.Philip Lodewijk Jacob Frederik Sadée 1837-1904
This is a kind of #Ottoman monument called a nişan taşı (target stone). They mark the spot where a sultan hit a long-distance target with a bow or rifle. This nişan taşı, in an area called Nişantaşı, has a poem recording how Mahmud II shot an ostrich egg from 600m in 1811 🥚🔫🤷♂️
Heyyy~
We're almost at 10k 😱
So as a little "pre celebration" (there will be a giveaway when we get there) I thought of doing a Q&A c:
Comment with any questions you might have about art, Petrichor, my growing dice collection, whatever~ 💛
I'll reply after work :D
