The Reveal Stage! I typically don't show the shadows and lighting until the final reveal. Then I ask the client if there are any edits or changes they would like. If no edits then I send a high res file.

They loved this piece with no edits and I enjoyed making it!

I have been selling my work for years, and doing art in general for much longer. My craft is SERIOUS, and any potential client is informed of that before inquiring. So if you ask to pay ONLY after I complete artwork with no contract in place… I will never work with you.
