This was my grandmother back in 1975 after the Vietnam War ended. She was a US soldier who help take my grandfather into the states for refuge. She died of lung cancer 20 years ago but we think of her everyday ♥️

His last name is my paternal grandmother's maiden name. I named him before I knew about 'canon' Miqo naming.

In the 40s my grandmother worked for a famous Swedish director & his family looking after their children. Through them she met Orson Welles who fell in love with her and wanted to make her a star in Hollywood. Just like I fear success, so did she. We carry these stories with us.
