Bound to the Bark: Dryads & Hamadryads for this week's #ThursdayTheme: Tree Deities & Protectors of the Oak, so connected that they sadly die if the tree is cut down. Painted here by Waterhouse (1893), Evelyn de Morgan (1885) plus Tree Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker (1920s)
@hutchiin HI HI HI here’s my ponysona and my two 1920s OCs!!
Original art who? I dont know her I only know @DrawfeeShow fan art. Ms. Terry reminds me of like those grandma's who were 1920s flappers that have so many stories of being with celebraties and gang members lol #drawtectives
@sethpuertoluna Me and @Mollietees OCs (Sidney and Harry) that are the main characters in the webcomic I’m working on. Our two vamps met in the 1920s and had a bit of a fling 🥰
The Arrangement is a new supernatural/historical drama about two vampires that enter an unlikely partnership to survive the chaos and excess of New York in the 1920s.
A tale of mischief, mayhem and possibly…love?
Coming Fall/Winter 2022. #webcomicday
Well, tbf, Cuphead and Mugman were born in the 1920s (1926 in my headcanon) and their parents couldn't have known they'd have twins before they were born so... 😆
(Plus, they were fairly small babbies too :P)
Realized I haven't posted my own art in over a year so here's my redraw of the last thing I posted... which is also a year old! More 1920s themed dnd game :)
Meet Rory. Aspiring jazz singer. Lives in the 1920s era. Sings all day every day. Writes songs. Trying to figure out how to break into the NFT music space. Thinks it's the future. Bringing back that Jazz age to web3! #NFTCommunity #DESKHEADS
@smokesalty Hi ya. I’m working on a couple webcomics about vampires - my main focus is The Arrangement - set in the 1920s about mine and a friend’s OCs having a brief fling. Here’s some sketches and related artwork from that project. Hoping to launch in the fall.
I wanna write a story taking place in mid-1920s USSR, so have my protagonists Feliks Vasilev and Leonid Makarov! IDK their relationships but they're at least very close :)

A modern sensibility with touches of the risqué. Two women take to the dancefloor together, in a scene of 1920s Parisian nightlife published #otd in 1925 by magazine La Vie Parisienne, in the MLC collections. #1920s @MLC_Research
@TheStoryKGW I think the piece @TimGordonPDX is an important point .. Houselessness is an American spreading problem it’s not just red or blue states. We need solutions because with housing rising and inflation .. Anyone remember the 1920s hooverville .. We need solutions it will get worse
