I had this idea of creating a demon based on a randomly generated colour palette as a challenge for myself. I may do a few more of these because it was actually pretty fun to draw this and practice with colour!

on shading in general: remember that light has a colour!
if you want to use something purple-ish for the shadow, make sure you use something yellow-ish for the highlights

Anyway: Shinryu + Planesgorger, black and red because of DFF Shinryu.
Omega as opposite colour! And having moth bits mixed with beetle bits. Going for the coolest shiny.

Oh heck yes I wanted to mention something cool! Hataraku Chocobo is packaged as a monochrome WS game, the manual only shows b&w screens, shows an OG WS on the controls page, and makes no suggestion it could be anything else BUT...
If you play it on a colour WS, it's in colour!

hanako’s eyemask match her ink colour! (so usually purple or magenta) its inspired from how the enemy octolings in the first game have a purple mask, so i assumed that enemy octolings’ masks were meant to match their ink colour!
