welp, finally found some of my old art. I had a pretty early start on digital - I used to draw in Macromedia Flash (before adobe bought them) But this is some early PS work.


Oof it's so bad I had to jack the contrast to 200%

In 2010, I was in an abusive relationship (kinda - he insisted we weren't actually a couple), and I threw away all my writing and art to make him happy. So I have nothing from 2009 - my oldest pieces are from 2010. Close enough, right?

I feel like other than a better grasp of muscle anatomy I've not grown terribly much. I'd dipped into other interests that decade and started a new era though. Started the decade moving to AUS and ending the decade moving to US!

Ah this is satisfying to look at!

Hearing similar stories from a lot of people, glad I'm not alone in this:
I didn't draw at all from 2012-2015. It was a hard time in my life. I'm glad I got back into it, but sad that I wasted that time.

I don’t have any art from 2009, but I do have my first digital piece that I posted on my old Facebook in 2011. All I have to say is I’ve come a long way

In 2009 I decided I would be an artist. I started drawing manga and filled countless sketchbooks. Now it's the end of 2019 and it's been quite a journey! I still have a long way to go, but I'm eager to see how my artwork changes in the next decade!
