Watercolor is intimidating on one hand and feels like it takes a lot of planning before execution. But the imperfections also just look kinda nice. Will do more in the future!

I think about the tiny scar idea far more often than is warranted.
I prefer it.

Doom is SUCH an egomaniac that the tiniest imperfection is hideous.
Great psychological drama.

But… Byrne met Jack and Stan halfway with a bigger scar.

Then cranked it to 11 with a red hot mask.

This one I just finished yesterday. I wanted a light source from behind so that there would be lots of shadows. Shadows will hide all the imperfections that you don't feel like fixing. Unless you have a bright screen with faded colors, then the truth is exposed...
