I've noticed that I tend to use gradients too much, to the point where I do them out of habit. This piece was me deliberately trying to stop that. The result is a weird sort of splotchy Junebug, but I feel like I benefitted from the exercise :>

I don't have any specific locale in mind, but I feel like Junebug would be Swedish or Norwegian. I've never been, but I know it gets really cold and there are pretty forests with pointy trees c:

(Plus when I picture him speaking with a Scandinavian accent it makes me smile ouo)
