it's super fascinating looking at Takeuchi's personal art and comparing it to the key art for the games. like you can really tell that he excels at softer looser art, but has trouble condensing that into bold defined outlines and colours

it's wild to see the shift between doing all of these comics in Photoshop to using the iPad and Procreate for all of them. I love the old comics still, but the change really made them feel so much looser in a way I really love.
