Why do have to "Update" all the time?

I am trying to watch my or and my wants to reboot, reboot. And if you miss some then you can't use it ever again, like the other one I had to ditch.

There was an attempt to figure out ArtFlow on my Chromebook with a mouse. This took me like 45 min to an hour lol. When I was 12 I could make full illustrations with MSPaint and a laptop trackpad that somehow came out less shaky than this lol
