According to Irish #mythology, keening laments were sung by Banshees who'd sing (wailing) when a family member died or was about to die. "Keen" as a noun or verb comes from the Irish & Scottish Gaelic term caoineadh, "to cry or weep". #MythologyMonday

With character names like Aethelflaed, Aethelred and Aelflaed, this series one-ups Tolkien in obsolescent proper noun usage. Fortunately, the characters are incredibly well-written, and the plot moves like a bullet train with payoff after payoff. Highly recommended. 9 out of 10.

Finished No Game No Life volume 6. I've watched the movie twice so I knew the plot well already but I still wasn't prepared for the Proper Noun Overload in the second half lol. Still, it's regarded as one of the peaks of the franchise for a reason: Great themes, creative world.
@Dandy_nsfw I love to help people to do this! X)
