I grew up reading as sacred texts, and Pippin has always been my favorite. I love the films, but sometimes it feels sad that I can no longer see the characters as they used to look, in my head. In Pippin’s case, however...I don’t mind at all.

The Hobbits are Little Blue Penguins because they're the smallest species! Sam is a White-flippered penguin, a special variant, since he's the only one of the four who aren't cousins. Pippin also still has down feathers on the top of his head, since he's the youngest.
