I don’t mean that IDW’s current Sonic comics should do something to tie into Prime. I mean should IDW publish a SEPARATE comic that is based on Sonic Prime?

Similar to what Archie did with X & Boom, or IDW with movie 2.

in the Marvel comic, Hot Rod visibly changes colours from purple to red upon becoming Rodimus Prime. (1986)

(in the cartoon he changed colours from magenta to burgundy, but it was a whole lot less noticable)
