Black Panther was okay. I'd give it 3.5/5. The plot felt a bit familiar, like it was Iron Man 2 spliced with Tony vs. Bucky from Captain America: Civil War.

T'Challa's sister, Shuri, was too damn adorable geek and definitely stole the scenes she was in.

Looking forward to seeing tonight!
I had to sketch T'Challa with his big flowy cape

T'Challa's sister Shuri took over the Black Panther mantle after he was left in a coma. He recovered his powers through other means later on, while Shuri remained as Black Panther until her heroic end.

T'challa is cool character. Originally maybe a bit too much ... well 'conservative' in his views but he plays like a Batman for me. Dark in nature, grey in morals but firm in beliefs.

Ororo though is a goddess! She could wipe a planet if no one was to stop her (w.o. any tools)

First appearing in 1966, Fantastic Four T'Challa was the ruler of Wakanda (a fictional South African country) and would be the first African to join the Avengers in Issue (1968). His solo movie is anticipated to be hugely successful.

I'll be putting up a Black comic book character for every day of this year and it seems appropriate to begin with the King of Wakanda below.

Day 1: T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther (Marvel Comics)

53 128

19 Days.

Today's is Shuri, T'Challa's sister, Queen of Wakanda, at one time The Black Panther and currently the Griot who walked the Djalia and gained wisdom and power. She will be portrayed by Letitia Wright in the film.

Azzuri (T'Challa's Grandfather) squaring up with Captain America (Steve Rogers) will always be my one of my favorite fights in Marvel
