His only appearance in the og manga is a panel in Freeza arc as a homage to Toei's special. But it has zero impact on the actual story. Freeza does not even remember his name and Goku does not care to know about him. Removing it does not cause any harm to the narrative of the arc

Ya me estoy imaginando la cantidad de críticas que va a tener Toei si se atreven a censurar estos paneles xD. No importa si el guion llega a ser mejor, o la animación sea espectacular.
Va a ser un descojone de risa, y más aún porque incluso DBZ censuraba cosas del manga.

In the OG Manga, Toriyama basically made it like the legend of the SSJ was kinda misinterpreted by the saiyans, viewing it as an evil destroyer. While Toei with LSSJ and GT, decided to change that to where, the legends were 100% true, just different forms. Which do you prefer?
