having read the novels, Kyoshi understands the importance of found family more than anyone GOD. One of the things she had to learn was that she wasn't alone and I ADORE how this comic connects thematically to Kyoshi's own character development when she first became the Avatar!

Magmaws are a smaller variant of Magmaarghs, which are closely related to Blarggs, an enemy first introduced in Super Mario World.

In Yoshi's Story, Blarggs were represented differently, becoming more similar to Magmaarghs.

They were the same ones in Orochi, which I could forgive cause you had the regular DW cast. But, Hideyoshi's voice actor... I still have nightmares. Specially compared to him in SW2, or heck, even SW2 XL (Which most XL voice actors were new and not good. But he replicated it well
