There are still issues and questionable aspects, but overall I do like this version most

Also some amazing panels all over, each chapter has many standout panels.

Toyo’s art has some odd moments ofc also a ton of improvement. Choreography, paneling, art, etc are all better.

it’s splitting hairs as they’re essentially the same stylistically but i really think the Goku vs Jr fight is the peak of both the art and the choreography. ESPECIALLY in the manga

Just finished sun ken rock honestly a solid 8/10 boichis art easily carries the series With amazing fight scenes dope choreography and fun characters the series was a really good read the only downside is I felt like the dialog was a little corny at times

One of the few that I started and caught up with last year. I think it has the right balance of sick fight choreography and good themes that are mainly driven by Yuji, who's hero complex is damn interesting to follow! No regrets.
