TL;DR: they’re these little things found in trees and they’re hollowed out and turned into pokeballs. They come in many colors. Though this is the previously known method, I think modern pokeballs are made with metals.

To improve blinking, use the onion skin option to see where the eyes are. Trace the eyeballs n close the lid. Eye lids close downwards, the bottom lid shouldn't move :D Don't copy mine exactly because I'm not sure how many frames you really need to make it look best, experiment!
