I want to capture this feeling in 3D so badly!! 3D is so polished it can feel pretty sterile (there are exceptions).

2D is so good at this kind of very emotive minimalism. I mean it's obviously Ghibli as well, so they're masters, but I find this vibe is hard in 3D.
