Making these hitboxes is hell. The actual attack part of his anims are too fast to rely on hitbox interpolation so I have to jankily slap capsule boxes to cover the area where he would have swung. And it's exactly what Nintendo did too

You can also make a video of transitioning psi values but for a single image/seed, instead of the usual videos of interpolating latents. This would also be great combined with waifu2x for 1024x1024 videos.

Another thing you can do to sell the illusion, for your assets, is to add a "Stepped Interpolation F-Curve Modifier" to the animations. This will provide an extra bit of low fidelity.
