This is the Northrop F-15 Reporter, a photo-recce development of the P-61 Black Widow night fighter. Although it only saw limited USAF service, F-15's mapped North Korea from their base in Japan, before the outbreak of the Korean War, which proved very useful!👍🏻

It’s actually been harder to keep up with posting than adding to this thread. I get interrupted like every 5 mins by either kids or self care.

Anyway, values mapped out, and then refined forms before the drawing, plus possible colors + finish method strategies

I actually baked the spec for this from the normal mapped low poly, and then added it to the base in Photoshop.

A few tweaks and color adjustments and it added a ton of depth. I wish more people would include spec in their hand painted skin; it livens things up considerably.

Constructed simple geometry with the illustration overlayed so I can align it, projection mapped the result, split up the illustration into parts based on what elements overlap others and filled in the gaps, then finally moved the UV islands to match the new part locations

The map file for Another Dimension comprises of several layers of textures mapped to flat planes. What I more or less did was paste images over the original sprites used, that's it.
