Fan arts era (2017-2018)
I focused more on making a lot of arts instead of improving my skills. But instead it helped me find my comfortable way to draw.

When I was young my neighbor friend complimented me on my drawing skills. I kept going because I used to be inspired by Barbie and studio ghibli and wanted to make my own stories and characters. I fell in love with anime and just loved drawing pretty girls. https://t.co/Rnw5apX1Mh

2012 - 2022
I remember drawing oversaturated art with no studying done on color theory, anatomy, composition, etc. and just.. enjoying the process no matter how it turned out. Now I have honed more of these learned skills. I have improved ❤️

To all AI bros out there that insist we are gatekeeping the creation of arts from you —learning resources and ethically-made tools to make artworks have always been accessible.

It’s the dedication and time that are needed to hone your skills.

This year I started learning to draw. And my last illustration.

I think the more practice the better the skills.
P.S. A few years ago, I was sure that I couldn't draw 🙈

Everything is in our hands and head💪🧠

Hate the way my art looks right now, but I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t acknowledge that I’ve worked my ass off to get to where I am in terms of my skills. No artist is born with talent or “genius” as Emmanuel Kant suggested, we all WORKED to get good.

I will not find my early drawings, but here are some old things 2017-16 vs 2022
If you still think that artists sell souls to someone... Maybe that's partially true yet we work on our skills.

For an example: I put my health on the altar, my time and my energy.

It's not about being born good at something. It's practicing, learning and building skills. If you enjoy it, stick to it!
