Bartholomew, ever the ambitious pand, summons a demon too large for him to control. Shenanigans ensue.
Thanks to Losthexer on my Discord server for the commission!
@NatashaCL7 Yes! It's not the focus of the plot, and it's casually introduced rather than giant neon signs saying so, but Bartholomew Gray not only happens to be the most intellectual in my large cast of characters, but he finds true love with his ambassador, Kal.

It's my beautiful scholar and navigator of Captain Kazuaki Hidataka's ship! The one, the only, Mr. Bartholomew Gray!
I love adding @Akanetto2's art to my collection. Only a few characters left to have the entire Akanetto set of my filthy heathens! 😊

“…and Paul, you had the fish, which is $13; Bartholomew, you got the veggie platter, so $10; the wine was free, natch; so with tip, $20 per? And Judas, you better not say you “forgot” your wallet this time…”

Bartholomew was ashamed that he had been skeptic about Jesus until he met him, though he need not to be. The frogram were getting more and more familiar with the twelve disciples of Jesus.
As Jesus told him about the fig tree, Bartholomew found Jesus had known his wish for the sake of his country. Jesus himself looked to him like the big fig tree covering him and his people. That was why he followed Jesus.
Contrary to the fig tree symbol, their country was now like a withering tree and even its even the only remaining dried-up fruits were going to be hit down - so said Bartholomew sadly.
Bartholomew was was reluctant to go to see Jesus, but Phillip insisted he should do.
Phillip was going to tell to the frogram how they came to follow Jesus. Their story seemed to be embarrassing to Bartholomew.
The frogram got a chance to get closer to Phillip and Bartholomew. It was found the two were friends since their childhood.
My very serious front running name for this character who is a Spirit Bard is... Bardtholomew. Thank you. I do not taking criticism on perfection.
Believe it or not, Bartholomew was really into to disco back in thee day. But you'll never hear him admit to it now. Still, he likes thinking back to those days and still owns some records and his old suit.

Bartholomew belongs to me.
@jacobstevenmohr Beautiful work! Of course I love the dryad piece; dryads play a small role in my latest WIP (Gray Tides Rising) as well, so I'm a fan. 😁
