@PenAsteria Duplicating my lineart and gaussian blurring makes my art much softer. Same with merging all layers, doing the same blur and then soft light and adjust
i fucked up when i first started and drew stuff on the same layer and my solution was to just continue drawing on new layers on top and merging them down, while keeping a dupe of the layer every so often in case i irreparably mess up lol

If you look back at your last 4-5 drawings and notice some similarities.. Is that your art being boring or is that maybe randomly a style emerging?
I may love Jason in the black leather jacket, but I am low-key a Hush Jason supremacist... the brown trenchcoat... the white streak... utterly top tier. My only complaint is that the underarmor is a bit overdesigned imo. Merging it with the three jokers look would be PERFECT.
Endless Paths is an older piece, but one I'm still really proud of. It came at the beginning of my 'swirls' phase, when I was leaning into automatic drawing and surrealism. The idea here was to have a portal emerging from the landscape, a sudden hole in the fabric of reality.

@jasperthecrab I'm an older, still emerging artist (due to health concerns) but I won't stop trying to share my art with the world. Even a small difference made, means the world to me. I mainly do portraiture and I love learning new mediums.

Anyone who thinks the Air Force wasn't thinking Star Trek when merging these together in 1980s is high. I promise you, that was 1000% a major design factor, if not the biggest. Attracts recruits. Good public image by association. Romanticized discipline imagery.
