It's great 'The Tide' has won the Crystal Kite Award, but since it's for a picture book, not for writing alone, it ought to go jointly to both the writer *and* illustrator. No reflection on the writer -she supports her illustrator- but should rethink.

One the final Joe’s is a personal favorite: Wetsuit. Fun story, my original Wetsuit was lost on the beaches of the North Sea in Scotland back in the 80s. I had buried him & forgot where. had to say goodbye as the tide came.
