I don't think he would get hung up on that though, I'm not saying Sonic shouldn't feel emotion or anything but I feel like he'd just move on. He's been battling against Eggman for a while now, the reframing here is weird.
I'm starting to slowly feel about IDW the same way I do about 06.
Some of the stuff seemed unappealing to me but I'm begginning to feel the intent of it more.
Like Sonic wanting Eggman to be good isn't a bad idea, it could've been done better.
