@Tigenki Honestly my girl Purple gets her markings missed so many times lol. It's usually her white eye spots or brown under eye markings that get missed, so I tried to update her ref to be as accurate as possible. I still love all the art I get of her though! 💕

@Tigenki the little line between his beak and the rest of his mouth! and the way his eye marking is supposed to come down next to it too. i FULLY understand why that can be missed, but its just a super tiny detail that's always overlooked tbh!
@Tigenki A lot of time people will miss the undereye marking. I've also had a few make their ears and hair the base color when they are actually lighter.
I can understand because they are very subtle details, but it does slightly bug me since it doesn't feel "finished" or something...
@Tigenki it's always either his teeth or this lil X marking on his chest.
people have drawn him with canine teeth [no rodent incisors like he's supposed to have] and i really don't mind! it just adds onto the mystery of his species. is sebastian a rat? or an opossum?? who knows :)
@Tigenki 90% of the time people don't make their ears big enough... and sometimes the muzzle spots or undereye markings are missing :(

Revisited my roots and redrew my old Warrior Cats OC, Tsukipaw (yup, you read that right). I wasn't looking at refs from my Hatena days, so looks like I got the markings wrong. Young me can deal with it. She got fanart and should be happy about that.

posting a preview of this dude again with some mud/sediment markings, I wanted a Viking look so I wouldn't unintentionally use markers that relate to indigenous tattoos/face paints. But since modern viking depictions take/have similar looks to indigenous traditional looks-
have to make fire emblem-esque characters for a game design project might just slap them into a 5 dollar adopty grab bag or something after the fact idk this is what we're working with
