Why vegetarian is cuz she has a weird issue where the metals of meat are amplified taste-wise for her, sister and dad, although this for her dad causes him to like meat more thus his issues lol. for Riza and Vivian, it causes a dislike of all meats

I really dislike the whole “scientists meddling with that which they shouldn’t” trope in media. Irl every project we do needs to pass through multiple independent ethics boards because we’re not cartoon villains.
I believe this trope has real impact on peoples’ trust in science.
