I found the inclusion of the lunar cycle to be very cute, fitting given that the Azuki is deemed a “Spirit Goddess.” In addition, I thought the color scheme (white hair, night sky) complimented with contrasting butterflies was skillfully employed.

My inspiration was Lapis from Grand Chase (picture below). The pink hair got changed to black, because light colors as main AND secondary colors seemed not to be the right choice. The jewelry as gold and red is fitting with the black, in my opinion, so I went for that.

“Star Emperor Swords” is a direct translation of the Japanese name, 星皇剣/Seiōken. What do these swords have to do with stars or emperors? I think it’s just that the kanji 星(star) and 皇 (emperor) look similar, making them fitting for the name of a pair of twin swords.
