Like, classic Cyborg showed a lot of skin. Animated Cyborg, who made the character a household name, showed a fair amount of skin. New 52 Cyborg shows only half a face. That feels important for a black male hero, especially one whose main inner conflict is about his humanity.
Greta Thunberg who has strongly opposed nuclear energy protesting a coal mine in Germany which they're only using because they put themselves in a massive energy crisis after phasing out nuclear energy shows how absolute disconnected climate activists are with reality.
Paradise Island is interesting as it is a *persistant* Utopia, but perhaps our view of it as a Utopia changes over time. The Amazons are also immortal (or long-lived), like Tolkien's Elves - but it also shows that long-life might only lead to stagnation and obedience.
