To Winchester to see the David Brown "A Remarkable Man" exhibition, the highlight for me "Figure and Bird" (1963) by the equally remarkable Roger Hilton. Several nice lithographs including "The TIde" by Paul Nash. Possibly deserved a bigger venue

Is there anyone else out there that compulsively consults past auction sales to find data for their research? I look at China Trade art/early photographs of China... look at these garden & botanic related beauties (Bonhams 2009) https://t.co/XYmXBeAXgG

#HappyMothersDay to all of our followers! I've posted some of these @mfaboston 1920's Lanvin lithographs from Gazette du Bon Ton before, but I think they're perfect for today. Lanvin's love for her daughter Marguerite was well documented, reflected in her designs & company.

Happy birthday to Honoré Daumier today, born in 1808! Widely renowned, reviled (and occasionally jailed) for his published work, including satirical lithographs, excoriating and humiliating the middle class and corrupt government.

Simply painting from the heart. @ValBright4 digging out photographs of figures in water, creating new mesmerising compositions. Moving beyond MA practice is worth doing! https://t.co/u5lOzjnY23
