At this point it’s more tradition that’s keeping them from changing in this instance. But yeah it would be awesome if there was more variation. Looking at other platformer series, the OG villains still stick around, but they usually aren’t always the only threat.

I guess to specify you have to break the eye, not just tap it Usually her hair is protecting it, but yeah if it breaks she can't do any of this or heal at all until that eye reassembles. Which takes a really long time.
