Onto Surge!! I was super excited for her because I love Scourge!! And there's no way not to compare them. They're both asura coloured punk Sonic-clones who want to kill him bad. But there's a big key difference between them... Scourge is fun but Surge isn't LMAO

This is probably my favorite shot from Digimon Tamers, a quick but sweet moment between Jeri and Leomon before the lion hits the fan. I'm really happy with how this came out! I tried a couple of new things with both characters and I think it turned out well overall.

The blond to brunette is a range. I like to have one character in a group have a definite, solid hair color (that is definitely a blond’s blond) then given other characters subtle in betweens. Remember that in cartooning you can press colors to greater extremes.
Subdivisions of red heads are strawberry blonds (red+blond) carrot tops, Mary Jane Watsons, and auburns (red+brown). Lighting can create illusions of a darker or lighter red, as well as the chromatic intensity of the hair itself. “In-betweens” will contrast with pure gingers.
